Regional Workshop on Indigenous Peoples and Communal Land Management in Asia

Asian Development Bank (ADB) joins indigenous peoples and development agencies in celebrating the completion of the ‘International Decade of World’s Indigenous Peoples’. As part of this celebration, Environment and Social Safeguards Division (RSES) and Human Resources Division (BPHR) organized this workshop to highlight the distinctive relationship between indigenous peoples and their habitat through the presentation of in-depth case studies in Asia on communal land management.
